ATAS 適用對(duì)象：EEA 和瑞士之外的國(guó)際學(xué)生并且入讀英國(guó)研究生敏感類(lèi)專(zhuān)業(yè)的學(xué)生

who are applying to study for a postgraduate qualification in certain sensitive subjects, knowledge of which could be used in programmes to develop weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) or their means of delivery, to apply for an Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) certificate before they can study in the UK. EEA 和瑞士之外的國(guó)際學(xué)生（無(wú)論申請(qǐng)時(shí)身處何處）如去英國(guó)就讀敏感類(lèi)的研究生專(zhuān)業(yè)，則需要做ATAS 證書(shū)認(rèn)證！敏感類(lèi)專(zhuān)業(yè)：專(zhuān)業(yè)授課內(nèi)容涉及到大規(guī)模殺傷性武器的制造或者運(yùn)輸方式。

哪些專(zhuān)業(yè)需要做ATAS：

ATAS 認(rèn)證只針對(duì)研究生主課，不涉及主課之前的語(yǔ)言課程！可在下面鏈接查詢(xún)課程 JACS Code ，判斷是否需要做ATAS 認(rèn)證另外學(xué)校發(fā)offer 的時(shí)候也會(huì)標(biāo)明該專(zhuān)業(yè)是否要求做ATAS 證書(shū)認(rèn)證

查詢(xún)的時(shí)候只要輸入 JACS Code 的前兩個(gè)字符即可：

ATAS 證書(shū)有效期：6 個(gè)月

遞交簽證申請(qǐng)之前必須先拿到 ATAS 證書(shū)。

簽證最早可以在開(kāi)課之前 3 個(gè)月遞交申請(qǐng)，因此ATAS 認(rèn)證最早可以在開(kāi)課之前9 個(gè)月遞交申請(qǐng)。建議在遞交主課簽證之前2-3 個(gè)月提交ATAS 申請(qǐng)。

ATAS 審理時(shí)間：

官方說(shuō)法是遞交完整的申請(qǐng)后20 個(gè)工作日出結(jié)果。高峰期審理時(shí)間會(huì)更長(zhǎng)。但是不保證能按時(shí)拿到證書(shū)。所以建議提前申請(qǐng)（拿到學(xué)校的有條件offer，且愿意去該學(xué)校，就可以開(kāi)始著手申請(qǐng)ATAS 了）！

如果超過(guò)四周后，沒(méi)有任何消息，可以 email 至ATAS@fco.gov.uk 詢(xún)問(wèn)審理進(jìn)度。

ATAS 證書(shū)結(jié)果查詢(xún)方式：

沒(méi)有快捷的在線(xiàn)查詢(xún)方式，申請(qǐng)結(jié)果/證書(shū)會(huì)email 到注冊(cè)的郵箱。請(qǐng)及時(shí)查詢(xún)郵件，是否需要補(bǔ)充材料，是否通過(guò)認(rèn)證！

另外還有垃圾箱和訂閱郵件也要查詢(xún)，避免遺漏！一個(gè) ATAS 證書(shū)只對(duì)應(yīng)一個(gè)學(xué)校的一個(gè)專(zhuān)業(yè)。不同學(xué)校的不同專(zhuān)業(yè)需要申請(qǐng)不同的ATAS 證書(shū)。但最終只能有一個(gè)用于遞交簽證申請(qǐng)！ATAS 證書(shū)沒(méi)有通過(guò)的話(huà)，簽證會(huì)被拒。

申請(qǐng)表格分為 10 個(gè)部分，每個(gè)部分都要盡可能填寫(xiě)詳細(xì)完整。

1. Proposed Study 就讀專(zhuān)業(yè)（部分學(xué)校會(huì)發(fā)送專(zhuān)業(yè)名稱(chēng)，專(zhuān)業(yè) code，還有必修課和選修課的詳細(xì)信息，請(qǐng)根據(jù)學(xué)校提供的信息仔細(xì)填寫(xiě)完整）

The university you are proposing to study with will provide you with all the relevant details for this section, eg in your conditional offer letter. In particular they will advise you of the appropriate JACS code and give you the correct form of words for the “What Will you be Studying” box. Please only use the university’s description here. You will be able to enhance this description in the next box: “Why do you want to Study This?”;

2. Personal Details 個(gè)人信息

拼寫(xiě)錯(cuò)誤和數(shù)字顛倒都可能導(dǎo)致 ATAS 不成功，一定要仔細(xì)檢查，確認(rèn)無(wú)誤才能提交申請(qǐng)

Details from this section will be included in your ATAS certificate. Please complete this area fully and carefully and review at least once before submitting. Typos and transposed numbers are regular mistakes in this area and if the details provided do not match the details in your passport exactly, you will have trouble securing a Tier 4 study visa;

3. Spouse 配偶信息

（如已婚，而且配偶也要去讀敏感類(lèi)專(zhuān)業(yè)，配偶也需要單獨(dú)申請(qǐng)ATAS 證書(shū)）

Please advise us if you are married and are planning to bring your spouse with you.

Please note that if your spouse chooses to study an ATAS relevant subject whilst in the UK accompanying you, they will be required to apply for their own ATAS certificate separately;

5. Undergraduate/Postgraduate Studies 本科/研究生學(xué)歷詳情

學(xué)位，專(zhuān)業(yè)名稱(chēng)，專(zhuān)業(yè)課，畢業(yè)論文等都可提供，盡量詳細(xì)

Please provide as much detail as you are able on all previous undergraduate and postgraduate studies you have undertaken;

6. Other Studies 其他學(xué)習(xí)經(jīng)歷（培訓(xùn)或者進(jìn)修等）

Please tell us if you have undertaken any other studies you think may be relevant to your application

7. Published Papers 發(fā)表的文章（學(xué)術(shù)的，專(zhuān)業(yè)的。本人，或者與他人合著的都可以）

Please tell us if you have had any academic or professional papers published, either on your own, or with co-publishers;

8. Employment History 工作經(jīng)歷（詳細(xì)填寫(xiě)）

Please tell us, with as much detail as possible, of any jobs you have held. Jobs that relate to your proposed course of study, or that have been secured based on previous studies, are particularly relevant;

9. Referees 推薦人（一般是兩封學(xué)術(shù)推薦信，最好是認(rèn)識(shí) 3 年或以上的老 師。如已工作，可以一封是學(xué)術(shù)的，一封是工作的。家人不可以做推薦人） Please provide us with the details of two referees who have known you for a minimum of three years, preferably from your academic life. At least one of the referees should be from your under-graduate university. If you have any work experience, a referee from your employment would also be useful. A referee from your home country would be preferable, but it is not essential if you have studied and/or worked in another country. Please note family members are not acceptable;
